2023 Scholars Beginning a Four-Year Undergraduate Program

  • Kharee Anderson

    $1,500 Scholarship Recipient

    Kharee Anderson, a Charlottesville HS ’23 graduate and a family heritage member of Zion Hill and a member of Eden Ministries will be attending Virginia State University studying biology with a goal of earning a degree in veterinary science. Kharee is pictured with her mother Kea and Kiya Bates, her Zion Hill Baptist Church family heritage sponsor.

  • Elijah Fields

    $1,500 Scholarship Recipient

    Elijah Fields, a ’23 graduate of Monticello HS and a member of Union Run will attend James Madison University, studying business. Elijah is pictured with Pastor Ricky White, Union Run Baptist Church.

  • Maya Gardner

    $1,500 Scholarship Recipient

    Meyah Gardner, a 2023 graduate of Albemarle High and a member of St. John church will be attending Old Dominion University with a goal of earning a B.S. in pediatric nursing. Maya is pictured with Paster Kelvin Hawkins of St. John Baptist Church.

  • Ian Ayres

    $1,500 Scholarship Recipient

    On Sunday, August 6th, Ian Ayres was awarded a Keswick Heritage Fund Scholarship, presented by Union Grove Baptist Church pastor Arnette White (pictured). Union Grove is one of the five partner churches that have united to form the Fund. Union Grove is located on route 616, Black Cat Road, across from South Plains Presbyterian church and Ian serves there as Junior Deacon. Ian is one of four full time undergraduate students receiving scholarships from the Keswick Heritage Fund this year, and he is looking forward to studying at PVCC. Congratulations, Ian!

2023 Continuing Education Scholars

  • Monet Christmas

    $500 Scholarship Recipient

    Monet Christmas, St. John church member is a mother of three children including her son Malachi, who graduated from Monticello HS in 2022, received a KHF scholarship last year and is attending PVCC. Monet is taking courses at PVCC with a goal of becoming a special education teacher.

  • Malachi Christmas

    $500 Scholarship Recipient

    Malachi Christmas is a 2022 KHF Scholar and graduate of Monticello High School and is continuing his studies at PVCC.

  • Katrina Lee

    $500 Scholarship Recipient Katrina Lee will be continuing her graduate degree program at Liberty University.
